Program Manager

 

Description:
 
We are seeking someone who is passionate about delighting the customer while carefully managing cost, schedule and performance issues. Also has a proven ability to coordinate a wide variety of project activities including the production of interactive multimedia and web communications. It is essential that the PM is highly motivated, self-starting, extremely organized, detail oriented, and possesses outstanding communication and PM skills.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project budget and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Minimizes exposure and risk on project
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate, communicate and work with staff, customers, vendors and subcontractors - optimizing and streamlining processes where possible
This role will support the organization by creating, monitoring, and communicating project reports, resource requirements, managing project database, and creating all documentation for portfolio level reporting and configuration management.
 
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, multimedia, project management or related field
  • 2+ yrs experience working in a creative, Internet, multimedia or advertising agency
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects using work breakdown structure (WBS) process
  • In-depth knowledge of PM planning, monitoring and controlling processes
  • Has solution-oriented approach to managing complex projects
  • Proven teamwork skills to help deliver on-time, on-budget results
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment
  • Ability to effectively manage competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Interest in internet media and technology is a plus
Proven ability to lead multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
